I've had birds around me most of my life. Starting out as young as I can remember with parakeets. When I got a bit older I had a pair of cockatiels. Now I have a sun conure, named Sunny. Here is a picture of him right after taking a bath.

This is one breed of parrot that I would highly recommend to anyone. Their only downside is noise. They do tend to be quite noisy at times. However they more than make up for that with clownish behavior that will have you in stitches for hours.
